OUR REVIEW

All 3 of the kids are sick this weekend so I thought it would be the perfect time to bring out Treasure Buddies and have a nice relaxing family movie night.

We've seen the loveable Buddies before so I was pretty sure the kids would enjoy this movie. I did wonder if it would be a little young for the boys (ages 8 & 9) but they both enjoyed it so I guess not! I think the Indiana-Jones-ish feel suited them perfectly.

I asked the kids what they thought of the movie and this is what they told me:

Owen (age 8): I liked it. It was funny and it was really cool. I liked it because it was an adventure. I like the puppies. I also the like the monkey too. He's funny. I also like it when the kid smacks the old guy with the shield. That's awesome.
Aiden (age 9): The monkey with the bling bling is my style. He's funny. And what was with that ugly cat with no hair? That's just gross!
Olivia (age 5): I liked the part where the baby camel got to see her mom again. And I like the girl puppy and the pink thing she wore on her hair because that was pretty. And they can talk. But not the mean cat because she was mean. And she didn't have any hair and that was ugly.

I think we can safely assume that my kids are not huge fans of the hairless breeds of cats, they want a puppy, and monkeys make them laugh. Owen also really enjoyed the bonus feature with B-Dawg showing off his home.

I thought Treasure Buddies was an all around great movie for a family movie night!
