LADY AND THE TRAMP Diamond Edition Blu-ray Combo Pack

A classic love story unfolds in the best Disney tradition as a lovely young pedigreed cocker spaniel named Lady, who lives a pampered life, finds herself falling romantically for Tramp, an amorous street-smart pooch without prospects. Although they have fun together on several dates, including a sentimental spaghetti dinner by moonlight at Tony’s restaurant, their relationship is strained not only by Lady’s loyalty to her human family and their newborn baby, but by Tramp’s devil-may-care attitude that eventually gets Lady in trouble and tossed into the dog pound. However, good-hearted Tramp redeems himself by saving the baby from potential harm and thus wins Lady’s love and the affection of her human family.

Lady and the Tramp is a classic and I was excited to see it upgraded to Blu-ray! I must say the movie looks AMAZING on Blu-ray. Seriously. The animation looks beautiful with bright colours and crisp, clean lines.

Aiden (age 9): I liked it. The Tramp is my favourite. And the old floppy guy that has the big ears. I like the end especially because it is happy. But I don't like that old lady AT ALL.
Olivia (age 5): I like Lady, she's pretty. I like it when she shares noodles with the Tramp and then they get married and have babies but I don't like the rat.
Owen (age 8): I like that it is a movie about. Dogs are cool. I think the Scottish dog is funny and the dogs in jail are funny too. I think it's weird that they call the people Jim dear and darling though. Why don't they have real names?

We love the option of Disney second screen on the iPad and I enjoyed hearing Diane Disney's intro on the bonus features. It was cool to hear about Walt Disney from the perspective of his daughter!

I really enjoyed sharing this classic with the kids and it was an excellent way to spend an afternoon- especially considering all three kids are still sick :).

*disclosure: we were sent a copy of this movie to review*
