Get StarStruck with hunky young pop star Christopher Wilde (Sterling Knight), as he gets tangled up through a chance meeting with small-town girl Jessica Olson (Danielle Campbell), and experience their hilarious adventures set against the backdrop of Hollywood. Your whole family will love this music-filled Disney Original Movie, complete with music videos and never-before-seen footage. You've Got To Believe in STARSTRUCK!

Bonus Features Include: extended music scene featuring the song Got To Believe, music videos: StarStruck, Something About The Sunshine, Party Up, Rock Along, your chance to take center stage and sing along with the movie.

Starstruck is a very sweet movie. It is definitely geared to the pre-teen/ teen-girl demographic but I enjoyed it anyway. The movie is absolutely 100% family friendly- not a swear word to be heard or sexual content to be seen. Nada. Not even kissing! It is perfectly safe for the whole family to watch.

Be Myself:

great

Starstruck did an excellent job of pointing out the ridiculous-ness of being obsessed with celebrities. The message of being true to yourself and who you really are came through loud and clear and is certainly a message we all need to hear.

I quite enjoyed the main characters and found the acting to be well done... in a teen kind of way.  I appreciated how well the actors portrayed their characters- it seemed very natural. I especially enjoyed how NOT starstruck Jessica was in the film- it was very refreshing :) .

Hollywood Montage:

cute eh?

Overall Starstruck is a cute movie... it won't win any awards for deep thinking and solving world issues... but it was a nice way to spend an hour or two.

The bonus features are fun- I think the addition of a full length soundtrack DVD is brilliant.

If you have pre-teen and teen girls than they would probably love this movie. We had a couple 12 year old girls at our house the other day and both were quite excited that we had this DVD. :)

You can read interviews with the Danielle Campbell and Sterling Knight HERE.

Check out the official site for Starstruck.

Thanks so much to Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment for sending me a copy of this DVD to review.
