Mother's Day

I realize this post is a couple days late but in my defense I've been sick and not functioning particularly well. Such is life!

I got two beautiful gifts that my sons made at school. (Three cheers for teachers!)

Here is what I got from Owen:

Translation:

My Mom is special because she makes my lunch for school.
I like it when my Mom plays with me.
My Mom can do many things! I think she's best at makein pankaks (making pancakes).
My Mom has a pretty smile! I like to make her smile by making funny faces.
My Mom is as pretty as a rainbow.
My Mom is smart! She even knows how to use a computer.

Translation:

Mom you are the best!
You are #1!
Mom, you are the best cuduler. (cuddler)
Oh, you are the best hugger.
This mom is the funnyist.
Have a wonderfl Day!
Each day I hug you.
Rock on Mom!

Each flower had something nice he would do for me written on the back...
Translation:

I will go on the *kaput ( *computer).
I will *fiid my cat ( *feed).
I will make your bed.
I wont fuiut with my bruthr. ( I won't fight with my brother)
I will make *brekfisst (breakfast).

When Owen got home from school he immediately went and made me toast and juice all by himself. He was so cute about it!

I also got a fabulous gift from Aiden...
He gave me this beautifully decorated plant pot with pretty fake flowers in it...
This is what the card looks like:

The picture is of "Mom as bat-mom" and Aiden as "bat-boy".

I love my Mother's day gifts!

Those eyes... your kids have the MOST amazing eyes.

And I love the gifts, too. Miss those.

Those are all so, so sweet. Sometimes I just want to keep them this age forever.

Sometimes.
