What I found on my son's shelf...

I packed up Aiden and Owen's room and this is what I found on Aiden's shelf...

Aiden loves to collect things and he has his own special shelf to keep them on. Let's take a closer look at his treasures shall we?

First are his beloved bottle cap and empty gum wrapper collections...

And here is his "experiment"... a bottle of water with a pencil inside. He wanted to see if the pencil would disintegrate.

A weird McDonald's toy and the speakers for his ipod...

And of course an army guy housed in Styrofoam packaging material, plastic grass and a real stick...

I love that kid.

I wonder what would happen if he put the pencil in a bottle of diet coke?! Boys will be boys!

was going to share a jewelry idea for him on his bottle caps he may like as a christmas gift. i saw on ebay where artist take bottle caps and then put a picture inside them on a neclace with there favorite bands or maybe there family but mostly the bands or stars. the one i saw was swift tayler but they have lots others to choose from like rock stars or christain bands and girls are on delicate chains while boys might be onheavier chains or jute rope.thought i would share that idea as a christmas idea since he liked his caps so well, boys are hard to pick for anyway. great post story, my grandsons is full of pirate things so this year one of my gits will be a pirate box for his things i'm making out of cedar wood which i will put his name on with a wood burning tip, i think he will like that.
