Kathy Adams found out she had stage three breast cancer which had
metastasized to her lymph nodes on her 50th birthday. The Bay Area
woman fought back and today calls herself a survivor! She has
dedicated her life to helping other women go through cancer treatment
in comfort.
As a personal fitness coach for ten years, Kathy was determined to
keep her business running. She realized her usual exercise clothing
wasn’t going to fit through all her surgeries. One restless night, she
thought about wearing a cap made with wicking material for comfort
while exercising. Her idea sparked the Cool Chemo Cap.
Later she designed the Cool Chemo Top with the pockets on the inside,
to hold drains that many patients are sent home with after mastectomy
or lumpectomy.
Now Confident Clothing Company has an entire line of comfy and
soothing Therapeutic Active Wear. The line now includes Cool Chemo
Cap, Cool Chemo Top, Cool Chemo Pant, and Cool Chemo Capri. Colors
include tops in Black/Pink, Navy/White, Solid Black, Celery and Slate,
pants in Black and Navy, and caps in all colors
