Let me paint a picture for you- picture a frazzled mom with 3 young kids and a cart full of groceries. Picture her getting to her van and attempting to put all three children in their respective car seats while holding on to her cart full of groceries so that it doesn't roll out into traffic. Sounds fun doesn't it? Not so much.Well allow me to introduce you to the Cart-Stopper! The Cart-Stopper is a simple and effective device that reduces the risk of child injury and vehicle damage related to "run-away" shopping carts. It is basically a big suction cup that holds securely to any clean, flat vehicle surface while the other end immobilizes your shopping cart.
Pretty smart eh?
The Cart-Stopper is very affordable ($9.99) and is very simple to use. I think it is an excellent safety product. My biggest problem was remembering to use it but when I did it definitely eased my mind and made unloading groceries from the cart to the van much less stressful. This is definitely a product to make a parent's life easier. This would also make a great gift for new parents.
Thanks so much to The Family Review Network and My Lil' Monkeys for providing a Cart Stopper for me to review and one to giveaway to one of you fabulous readers!

My cart almost rolled away from me today at Walmart...this would be a nice thing to have. That's not very interesting though is it....hm, well my front tooth feels like it's going to fall out...how's that? ;)
Does this blogger identity work?
Interesting? I just finished wiping blue crayon off the white leather furniture. My husband invested in fancy furniture about 6 months before we got engaged. It's not holding up to having a toddler so well.
I need this at Trader Joe's- my cart is always trying to escape!

I sure could have used The Cart-Stopper just last week. I had 2 boxes filled with groceries along with 5 bags, 2 cases of pop. laundry detergent and toilet paper. Hubby cant help me with the groceries because of his heart so here I am trying to grab the boxes out of the cart to throw them in the back of the van and the stupid cart gets away on me..I'm chasing after it, just missed hitting the side of a car, I bring it back and lo and behold, I happen to catch out of the corner of my eye someone elses cart heading towards our van, look up and see 2 adults and 1 teenager, staring at it, making no attempt to run after it and laughing if you can believe it..I was livid. I shoved the cart back at them and said a few choice words. Heck maybe they should be the ones buying The Cart-Stopper.
Please enter me...great giveaway..thanks

This sounds like a really good thing to have. I'm thinking I could use it in my laundry room. The floors aren't level and the laundry baskets are on wheels (naturally!) So, everyone's baskets skate around slamming into the washing machines and the dryers, and people, if we haven't yet mastered the art of holding the basket and loading or unloading the machine. Anyway, thanks for the opportunity.

My family and I visited the Toronto Zoo on Monday and there was a shark and stingray experience exhibition. We got to touch the stingrays - it was very, very cool. The sharks wouldn't come near us though.

Couldn't be better timing for this giveaway. Yesterday, my 3 yr old was in the cart as I was unloading groceries into the car and decided to put with both feet against the car to see if he could jettison the basket. I actually thought about tying the cart to the bumper with a rope while I unload. That's probably not too interesting but hey, I love your blog's background and have been wanting to tell you so. It is almost identical to my bedroom wallpaper I had growing up.

i was very disappointed with summer in new england it rained and rained and then it disappeared mverno@roadrunner.com
Our grocery stores parking lot is built on a hill...don't ask me what rocket scientist did that but hauling a cart and groceries and a 2 1/2 year old up that hill is a killer! This would be a lifesaver to have once I get to the car so that my cart doesn't roll back down...its really getting embarrassing chasing it every time I go!

I went to cart-stopper's blog and found out that almost half of all pediatric injuries involve common household items (and not necessarily ones we think of as "dangerous").
these are a long-overdue idea! Very helpful for parents, disabled, or anyone who has ever had to fight to keep control of a cart while unloading!

Oh my goodness-I could so use this product! I'm always struggling with the grocery cart, afraid it and my 17 month old will roll into the car beside us or worse, traffic!
The cart stopper wouldn't have helped this situation but reading about it brought the memory back. I have a newish car and in June my daughter was waiting in the quite empty Zellers parking lot in the car. I came out to see her crying beside the car. A woman had for some unknown reason smashed a cart into the side and there was a dent and red streak. Why was my daughter crying? She said that when it happened she jumped out of the car and the woman stopped, looked at her and then just went back to her little child with no apology.
Hope that wasn't boring.

our local grocery store is at the bottom of the hill and the parking lot is on the slope. if your not careful the shopping carts will return themselves to the store!

my something interesting is this: real bamboo clothing is naturally UV resistant and anti-microbial/fungal. Interesting, right?
Anyway, I'd feel a lot safer with the cart stopper. :-)

Thanks for the giveaway, and did you know that pearls melt in vinegar? Don't try it! :D
Don't have anyone going back to school, but my OCD took over and wanted some school-type supplies - so I braved Target today and went back between the office supply and back-to-school sections a few times.
The cart stopper would be great as when it starts getting windy the cart likes to move or sometimes trying to put our son into the car and the cart is moving. I know one time i had put the groceries in the car and than i put my son into his carseat and the shopping cart started moving towards another car and you never saw me run so fast to catch it.
This would be great.
Thank you

I have an almost-3-year-old and an 8-month-old and, let me tell you, I could use another arm or two. When we go to the store it's hard to figure out who goes where and keeping track of the cart (and keeping it from rolling off down the parking lot) is a tad difficult. Between the two of them, we don't go hang out and peruse Target as much as we used to. I miss that.
Thanks for the giveaway!
