Yesterday we went to a small nearby beach for the afternoon. The kids had a great time and it was nice to be out of the house.We found these incredibly tiny shells in the sand...
This is one of the smallest ones on my index finger...
And a bunch in my husband's hand...
I was amazed at how tiny they were! Olivia loved them.Owen and I explored a bit...
We met up with a couple friends and this is the boys running around and around their friend building a sand sculpture with her grandma... she did a great job of ignoring them... which made them try to get her attention even more of course :)
Here is the castle my husband built with my kids while I lounged around taking pictures :)

But it's raining here, eww! We've had a couple of great weeks, a lot of sunshine, but it's back to the rainy days again. Ewww!
I loved the sea shells, they look like precious little jewels. Well, in a way, they are, aren't they?
Looks like a great day. I love shells like this - looks like my daughter Molly has inherited my need to "organize the beach". Looking at all the little stuff can keep me occupied for hours, and her for minutes. (not bad for a 2 year old..)
