JumpStart.com review & GIVEAWAY!!

I was recently asked to review JumpStart.com and JumpStart 3D Virtual World 1st Grade & 2nd Grade with my sons Aiden (age 7) and Owen (age 5). This product seemed to be the perfect fit for our family considering Owen is entering grade 1 this fall and Aiden is entering grade 2 so I was than happy to try it out.

We have all loved exploring JumpStart.com. I love that the boys were able to play on their own without any help from me! The graphics are wonderful- bright colours and extremely kid-friendly. Both of my boys enjoyed making their own "Jumpee" character.
Owen mostly stayed in the storyland area for kids ages 3-5. I think he really enjoyed the freedom of not needing any help because there is no reading required in that area. It was very cute to watch him concentrate so hard. He even talked to the characters once in awhile :) Aiden explored more and I was amazed at how easily he navigated the site. Both boys had a lot of fun and have asked to play several times since!
Both boys also enjoyed playing JumpStart 3D Virtual World CD-Rom. We mostly stuck to the 1st Grade stuff. This is a brilliant way to improve your child's math skills! I am certain that neither boy realized they were learning math while playing JumpStart! My only complaint is that the CD-Rom is not MAC compatible so we had to use my husband's computer to play.

JumpStart also has a blog with some very helpful tips. I appreciated the suggestions it had for parents on how to get the most of of JumpStart.
