Evenflo Comfort Select Performance Breast Pump review & GIVEAWAY!! CLOSED

This giveaway is now CLOSED! Congratulations to Kathy for winning this great prize!

Breastfeeding has been a rather odd journey for me. I was completely unable to breastfeed Aiden (my milk just never came in because I hemorrhaged giving birth to him) and I was devastated... and then I was only able to breastfeed Owen for 1 month because I had to stop for a series of thyroid tests. Again I was sad to stop. So when Olivia was born I was absolutely thrilled that she was such an easy baby to nurse. Now she is 28 months old and I am still nursing her to sleep.... and I love it. But when Olivia was younger I sometimes felt chained to her because I was the only one who could feed her. Thankfully pumping exists :)

I will admit though that pumping has not been my favourite thing. I have tried a few different types of pumps in the past 7 years and I have never really found the perfect one- until now. MomCentral sent me an Evenflo Comfort Select Performance Breast Pump and I love it!

The Evenflo Comfort Select Performance Dual Automatic Cycling Breast Pump is as great as the name sounds. It is incredibly easy to use and I had no problem setting it up. You can use one pump or both at the same time, plugged in or battery powered. I found the pumps very comfortable to use as well. I really wish I had had this pump years ago!

Evenflo is committed to helping moms do what's best for baby, and that includes making breast pumping more convenient for those living an on-the-go lifestyle. Evenflo has designed its new Comfort Select Performance Dual Auto-Cycling Breast Pump specifically with busy moms in mind. When developing the pump, Evenflo went straight to the women who know best, speaking with breastfeeding experts and moms like you. The result? -An occasional-use pump that has it all. It's compact, stylish and discreet, and includes a variety of new and enhanced features.

Mom Central has a website page dedicated to the Evenflo Comfort Select Performance Breast Pump. This page features a special section where moms can share breast pumping tips. Every mom that shares a tip will be entered in a giveaway to win one of three Evenflo Comfort Select Performance Breast Pumps and boxes of nursing pads! Go HERE to enter.

The Evenflo Comfort Select Performance Breast Pump is available to purchase at Babies R Us stores throughout the US & Canada.

I had a very hard time with breastfeeding. It hurt! It hurt so badly that I would cry feeding my baby for about the first month. After that it was better and I'm so glad I stuck it out.

If I win this I'll be giving it to my sister in law (due in Sept!) and then it'll get added to the baby bounty boutique, the collection of baby clothes and gear we have bouncing around the family.

I have six (yes, six) friends who are expecting and we are also TTC. So if I should win it would be up for grabs among my friends, unless we conceive before they give birth (then I'd keep it!). So I don't have a breastfeeding story yet, just aspirations.

Omgosh, I loved nursing my kids! I'll never forget when my first daughter was just born and I would hear her start to cry, I was laying on my back in bed and all of a sudden milk was squirting about 2 feet into the air lol Omgosh, I really had enough milk to feed a small country!

If I were so lucky to win I would give this to my eldest daughter!! She could use this right about now!

Thanks

I had difficulty latching my oldest but thankfully was able to nurse with a nipple shield. Even though we never weaned off of it we were able to breastfeed for 13 months before my daughter self-weaned when I was pregnant. With my second i've been breast-feeding for 11 months with no plans to stop anytime soon.

I would use the pump for myself. I hate my old manual one and rarely ever use it. But I need a pump for when we go on a week-long vacation without the kids.

Ps. I love that this contest is only open to Canadians. It's so frustrating when contests are only open to the US

It's me again! I saw this before I read your horror story! :)
Got so excited thinking that I could win a breast pump even after all these years! (been a while- youngest is ten) I am sure I am not having anymore babies- but, sure it would make a nice present for someone! I too wish I could have had something like this.
Took me till the fourth child to get it right...had the pain, no milk, the frustration, I even had to go in one day-and get this- I was told I wasnt doing it right, had to SHOW the nurse HOW I was doing it bc baby was not gaining weight! after all the indignities- I was told- oops, the scale was broken! Turns out I had it down after all! All was fine, and I left the office with a new disdain for inept medical personel! Not to mention a little less dignity!

I would love to be entered... I have pregnant friends but would probably keep it myself. Like you I've tried a few and didn't really have any luck. Didn't help that my milk never really came in very well. It made me sad, very sad!

I nursed four of my five daughters. Now one of my daughters is a mother and she is breast feeding her too. I regret not breast feeding the one child too. :(

Thanks.

I had a hard time breastfeeding my daughter but I was able to continue with support of a breastfeeding specialist. I ended up with a breast infection which made it difficult.
This would be for my niece who just had a baby and is breastfeeding.

I bf all four of my daughters. 1st for 9 months, 2nd for 15 months, 3rd for 18 months and 4th for 22 months. It was an awesome experience every time.

One of my funny stories was when my 3.5 yo daughter saw her new baby sister nursing. She went and got her baby doll, pulled up her top and breastfed her baby too....LOL!!!

My oldest daughter is now pregnant with my 2nd granddaughter and due in August. After having her 1st, she went back to work after 6 weeks and continued bfing and pumping for a year. That is an awesome accomplishment! She plans on doing the same, however she really needs a double pump to make it faster and easier.

Well, I don't have any stories...yet! I'm due at the end of July with our first. And if all goes the way one would hope, breast feeding is definitely a must. A pump is looking like a must have on our baby necessity list because in September I'll be returning to seminary to finish my last two practicums to earn my masters degree in counseling . That means dad will be feeding the little one while I'm seeing clients for a few hours a week. Crazy plan?...probably :)... but it's worth a try!

My 3rd child is due in August and I had long ago gotten rid of all my baby things thinking I was done after 2 kids. So this would be wonderful to win!

Nursing came naturally to me with both of our little ones. I did pump for cereal and such though.

My sister just had baby boy #5. After 4 she thought they were all done and gave all her baby things away. She doesn't have a pump and needs one. This would be AMAZING to win!

When you have a moment, be sure to come by www.beautifulcalling.ca as I have a Toddler Shoe Giveaway hosted by SEE KAI RUN and I am sure that Olivia would look darling in a pair :)

Thanks for the opportunity!

I would love to have this and use it. I have a very active wiggly baby that is challenging to nurse in public. More than once, she has kicked off the blanket or pulled up my shirt while nursing. Sometimes, she just pulls off and looks around before settling back in to nurse. LOL

I would like to win this because am a Mom of a three month old and I don't have one. I didn't think I was going to continue after the first month or two. But I actually enjoy that time with my son.

I would like to win because I want to go back to work part-time and my husband might be more understanding if I showed him I could still pump during the day. It's hard to stay home everyday with an infant because I don't know what to do with myself and I have no one to talk to.

I had a fairly easy experience with BF my first- except he was low birth weight and so I had to feed him every 1.5 hours for the first two weeks. That was rough. Really rough. I'm having my second in 17 days, and am hoping to not have to do the same thing!
