NO NO NO NO NO

Well.

THAT SUCKS!!!

Guess what?

We started out bright and early on our big trip this morning and OUR VAN DIED. Completely.

Ya.

We managed (with the help of several good samaritans and a nice taxi guy) to limp our van to a hotel where we are stuck until service stations open up tomorrow.

We THINK our alternator needs replacing.

It SO sucks to be us.

Feel free to pray for us. We are MOST discouraged.

OH. And did I mention Aiden got car sick and threw up- TWICE- all over the van?

Ya. This day just keeps getting better and better.

What next?

Oh Tara, I'm so sorry! I hope y'all get it all fixed and it isn't too painful on your wallet. Sending lots of prayers your way.

Our van died on Christmas Eve while Dan was driving to work, so I feel your pain. It needs a new transmission, $1500 worth of work, yuck! You said it very well, it so sucks to be us!

Oh my word, my friend. That is absolutely terrible. I hate having vehicle troubles!!! And away from home and on a trip no less.

So sorry to hear about your van troubles. I echo the "I hope it doesn't cost much" sentiment!

Well, obviously the new year immediately started throwing curve balls at you and your family! What are you going to do with them? Catch them? Let them fall flat on the ground?

OH NO! I am praying that it is an easy fix and you will still be able to enjoy your trip.
