so funny Tara. I actually JUST FINISHED signing up for WW Online. I am a Lifetime Member and a former WW leader so fully endorse the program having done it successfully in the past. You can search for a coupon code to get a week free for the online program! I say go for it!

I say why pay for something you can get for free! I have now lost 55.5 pounds since January 1 using caloriecount.about.com. It has seriously made losing weight much much easier for me.

weight watchers has worked really well for me several times so I highly recommend it. I'm on it right now and even though I'm not being as strict as I should be have lost 10 lbs in the first month. The meetings and weigh ins make me feel accountable which is why it is more successful for me than just doing it on my own I think.

I think that Colleen and Amanda have wonderful success stories. If they can do it....who couldn't?

My favorite thing about it is that it is not a subjective way to exercise self-control. I mean that you don't just have to think to yourself "hmm...I'm full, I should stop" or "I'm hungry, I should eat". Instead, its got a very "countable" way of controlling yourself with the whole points system. For me, that works so much better cuz I know exactly how much more I'm allowed to eat in a day. It's not just up to my brain to be in control.

Wow, that really didn't make much sense. Sorry... but anyway, its up to you - it works for some people and others find other things work better. But if you do try it and have any questions or anything, feel free to ask! You can find my WW blog at http://colleenslifelongjourney.blogspot.com/

i don't really believe in any diet system except eating less and exercising more. more of a lifestyle thing. i've never known anyone on any diet who lost weight and still was that size 10, 15, years later.

i think knowing WHY you eat is more important than knowing what you eat. if you know why you are triggered to overeat, you'll deal with the root causes of over eating, and then you'll eat less.

sounds simple. i know it isn't. all the best with whatever you choose.
