Yesterday we all drove to the city (2.5 hrs each way) to take my husband's broken camera in to be fixed. We were about half way there when my son Aiden said to me "Mom, can I take off my shoes?... haha I mean my shoe and my sandal?" To which I replied "What? Why are you wearing two different kinds of shoes?"My sons were very excited to get out of the van once we finally got there. We had the most wonderful lunch at East Side Mario's. Apparently on Monday's kids eat free! Yahoo for us! It was very enjoyable... other than Miss. Olivia's constant whining.
Here is Uncle Phil making a fire to roast hot dogs and marshmallows on.
And here is some of the lovely Saskatchewan scenery we saw on the drive home.
Doesn't it almost look like a lake and mountains? It's not. It's a flooded field and a bank of clouds.
Here is a flooded road...
I thought it was funny.

Hahahahaha. A shoe and a sandal. SO something Will would do and SO something I wouldn't notice either until it was too late.
I laughed out loud.
I love it! What a character you have! that brought up mismatched shoe memories....
Your pictures of the scenery are just lovely! Very peaceful.
that pic of your son is funny!
I've actually gone to work wearing two different black shoes before. Of course it was accidental....that's what you get for getting dressed in the dark, right???

Ok, I had to laugh at the shoe mis-match. But the 'flooded' photos are beautiful, and you're right - I would've completely thought it was a lake if you hadn't said otherwise. :)
At least it wasn't Doug wearing mismatched shoes! We both know it is something he might do :)

Aw! I love the pics of Aiden & his "pair" of shoes. We also gave your lovely husband heck today, for buying Lightning Crocs for Owen & not calling any of us about them, lol. We've decided to start a phone tree everytime someone heads to S'toon. I love the almost moutain/lake pics. Was that right before Melfort, heading home? It did that last summer too. Insanity!!!
