Saskatchewan Scenery

And now for the conclusion of my riveting photo-documentary on our trip to Manitoba...

I think the snow actually looks pretty cool blowing across the road. The weather was pretty nice and so I took some pictures of our local animals....

here are some very cold horses...

some very cold bison...

big tough buffalo type creature...

and some very cold cows...

Aren't you glad you don't live outside in -40 degree weather?

Here's some random scenery...

I think the snowdrifts look a little like waves... they really are beautiful in a freezing cold sort of way.

And here is the Saskatchewan version of mountains...

I'm pretty glad to be home but I am still sick and I am really tired of it. I really wish moms could call in sick.

Oh, I love Saskatchewan. That was not a sarcastic comment. I really do love Sask! My grandparents live in the south and so I remember summers and Christmases there. Some of my very favorite memories. Not to mention CBC. I enjoyed your pictures. Gave me a warm fuzzy feeling.

Ya I know. I am weird.

I hope you're feeling better already, Tara! Those pictures are just beautiful and I especially want to be standing where you were when you took the photo of the farm. I LOVE it.
