I am open to reviewing family friendly products, books, websites, and other blogs here on Tara's View of the World or on my book blog- Tara's View on Books. I have two sons (ages 6 & 7), one daughter (age 2) and one husband who make excellent product testers. My eldest son has some special needs (ASD) so I am also able to review products for special needs children.
I currently do reviews for the Family Review Network, MomCentral, MotherTalk, MomFuse, My Blog Spark, Team Mom, FIRST Book Alliance, the Christian Fiction Blog Alliance, Hachette Book Group, The B & B Media Group, Kathy Carlton Willis, Online Publicist, Bostick Communications, PR by the Book, and various other PR folks and independent websites/shops. Website/blog reviews are $20. (payable via paypal). Your website or blog will be reviewed personally by me. The written review will be a minimum of 200 words. You are welcome to ask for specific keywords and specific links that you would like me to use in the review. I reserve the right to decline any website or blog review that is not family appropriate as well as reserve the right to decline any image that is not family appropriate.
Book and Product Reviews - I ask that the author or company send me one of the items for my personal use. This is the only way I can give an honest review. I will write the review in exchange for the item. Said item will be mine to keep after the review is written. A link to the item reviewed as well as a link to the homepage of the site is provided within the review. I do request the permission to use a photo of the item from the company's website if possible. In addition to the review you may offer a like item for a giveaway. I will conduct the giveaway for you, taking care of the details myself. When possible, I request that the company send out the prize to the winner. Although 75 % of my readers reside in the USA I am Canadian and therefore prefer that giveaways be open to Canadians as well.
Giveaways - I am willing to host most family-friendly giveaways. If you would like me to write a thorough post and/or require participants to visit your site in order to enter as well as advertise your giveaway on other sites for maximum impact then I would like to be compensated for my time with a sample of the product for me to keep. The details of the giveaway can be negotiated.
Blog Stats - As of November 8 th, 2009 I have 1080 readers according to feedburner, and 535 followers at www.tarasviewoftheworld.com . I have 510 readers according to feedburner, and 259 followers at www.tarasviewonbooks.blogspot.com . Tara's View of the World averages about 175 unique visitors per day according to google analytics. 75% of my readers are from the USA and 18% are from Canada. The remaining 7 % are mainly in the UK and Australia. I actively use Twitter and have 1250 followers . I also import all blog posts to my facebook where I have 680 "friends". My google page rank is 3 on Tara's View of the World and 3 on Tara's View on Books. My google page rank on Twitter is 4.
Advertising- Rates for advertising on Tara's View of the World or Tara's View on Books vary from $5 per month to $250 per year depending on the size of ad you would like placed. I am also willing to trade buttons with other bloggers who are looking for extra PR free of charge.
